Tip- Google Chromecast

A great wireless solution for your flat screen tv, stream from any device; laptop,phone, or tablet over your router to your tv. Bought mine at Bestbuy for less than 40 bucks. Awesome. Show off your pics, your videos, your web surfing, your music, right to your tv. Does not work really well with xbmc in experimental mode, for all other web tv it is perfect. Highly recommended.

Rogers on demand has many free shows to watch and many Canadian channels. Top quality, full screen, no download required. Movies of a non pg rating require a paid account with sign in. But lots of free quality content.

This is an opensource entertainment system that is huge in scope. It is a front end for everything on your computer .. Gives you access to a  ton of free online content from Youtube  to thousands of real world cable tv channels and it   looks great.  All the online content is downloaded like  apps; many of the channels require you to download players.  It is very good at what it does, and gets better all the time . It will put most of your web tv in one place and get it organized. It also handles music, pics, and adult content.  Give it a try. It has a  great home theater look, and many people adore  this opensource gem. You will not be sorry. One of my new faves.

Put Locker

Put Locker streams major motion pictures and tv online. Great quality But alot of annoying pop-ups, but once your show is up and running , it all goes smoothly. As I recall there is no player required, and no sign up.

CBC Great place to catch coronation street

CBC Canadian main stream TV. The web site has a few shows you can watch in  HD   . This is the place for Coronation Street fans to get the daily fix. It is one day behind mainstream tv. The quality is perfect, will go full screen, chromecasts to my tv top notch. Also has Heart Land, Steven and Chris, sports, news, and of course CBC radio, the radio voice for Canada. This is a must have for your web tv, folder. Player download required, but simple and easy to do, no pop-ups.
